Day 31: January 31, 2011: A Day OFF!!!

Yay!  A day off!  I took Kathryn shopping for clothes, and then to lunch at Red Robin.  I then switched kids, and took Kaelyn to Costco.  We had a busy, but fun day off!

Day 30: January 30th, 2011: Hangin' out at Yates' Place

I think my kids would move in if I'd let them.  Kathryn was having so much fun reading books and playing.  They LOVE it there.  They even picked going there today on our day off!

I will get this rotated sometime:)

Day 29: January 29th, 2011: The Fort

The girls tried to make a fort in the sand pile today...yes, int the rain!  Love it!

Day 28: January 28, 2011: Kathryn made dinner tonight!

She made nachos all on her own, and then brought in a fruit platter too.  What a girl!  She would NOT allow me to even be in the kitchen!

After gymnastics, we decided spontaneously to go to Las Margaritas with friends.  It was a VERY busy restaurant, but a nice time.  I was going to take a picture of all of us, but these little cuties jumped in and wanted to be center of attention...so here we are!

Day 17: January 17th, 2011: Kaelyn's Chuck E. Cheese Party!

Kaelyn had a BLAST at her 6th birthday party!  We had the place practically to ourselves at the beginning.  She merged a Horse theme with the big Mouse, and we had a great time! 

Day 16: 1-16-11: Go Seahawks....UGH!

Day 15: 1-15-11 Cleaning the House becomes a Concert moment!

Kathryn decided the she could mopping the floor a lot more fun...so she started dancing and singing!  That's my girl!

Day 14: 1-14-11 : Go Seahawks!!!

We had Seahawk Day today at school!  Kathryn looked so cute in her dad's hat.  I love that girl!

Day 13--1-13-11 I'm a Rock Star!

I now am now officially "mic'd."  I have a new FM system in my classroom, and my voice is now porojected across my classroom all day...this could be interesting.  And yes, my hair tweaks out! 

Day 12: 1-12-2011: Praying for Mexico at Church

The kids learned a little about Mexico, and had some good authentic fun!

Day 10: 1-10-11 Walk LIke an Egyptian

Kaelyn has been doing the Egypt V.B.S. at school this week.  She came home today with her headband and collar--dressed like an Egyptian.  She cracks me up...moves and all!

Day 9: 1-9-11 SNOW cones

We were going to make some snow icecream, but I didn't have the sweetened milk, so they insisted on Snow Cones made with Crystal Lite...Yuck, I know!  They on the other hand, LOVED them...even TATE!

Day 8--Seahawks Win...She's bored...

We were watching the GREAT Seahawks game today, and Kaelyn was bored...so she turned herself into Santa Claus, and then a bubble snowman...Boredom fixed!

Day 7--Our Hula Hooping Girl!

This girl can hula for HOURS!  She is amazing!  Today at school she was walking around the classroom, bumping into desks and walls, and still going!  She really is amazing!

So...we meandered back to school today...surprisingly, everyone got up on time and with smiling faces!  Tim was lucky and had a 2 hour late start due to ice and snow!  We had a good day, but now we're exhausted!

Day 2- The Seahawks Win the Division!

So what if it was a losing season...they WON the division!  And they did it with "Clipboard Jesus" at the helm.  We had a fantastic dinner with Aunt Shirley and mom, and then watched the game.  Yay Seahawks!
